I became a psychotherapist because I am passionate about mental health and I find purpose in helping people live their best lives. I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including those with chronic mental health conditions.

I specialize in working with both teenagers and adults, particularly those who suffer from anxiety and mood challenges. I also have experience working with individuals who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques and tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. I prioritize creating a warm and supportive environment for my clients.

SB Psychotherapy is a virtual psychotherapy practice that provides individual therapy services. Virtual sessions are held through Owl Practice, a PHIPA compliant software designed for the provision of virtual mental health services. SB Psychotherapy offers a range of therapy services including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based therapy.
No. Psychotherapists registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) are not able to diagnose mental health conditions. If you are looking for a diagnosis, please visit your primary care provider or a psychologist who specializes in providing psychodiagnostic evaluations.
Fees for virtual psychotherapy services are $190 for a standard 50-minute session.
Payments must be made by credit card, which is securely added to your Owl profile upon registration. Payment is due at the end of each session, and a receipt is automatically issued to the email address on file.
Unfortunately, no. However, many private insurance providers and benefits cover psychotherapy services. Please check with your insurance company to determine whether your plan covers services offered by a registered psychotherapist.
Unfortunately, evening and weekend appointments are not available at this time. Appointments are typically scheduled from Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm.
